Asset Development Task Force
Minutes

This group has agreed to be the TASK FORCE in charge of ASSET DEVELOPMENT within the framework of the HTC training.

At our meeting yesterday (Jan 7th), this task force elected Jim Moore as
its chairman, Mike Rice as Vice Chair, and Helen Pauley as Recording
Secretary. Other members of the Task Force include, Lance McCormick, Bill Ditto, Lois Hellebust, Doug Springer, and Bob Cole. In the absence of Jim, I chaired the meeting. Here are the action items we identified and shared with the rest of those in attendance:

Action Item 1 - Bob Cole will check into the possibility of having Jeff Yost come and spend a day with our our task force and others within each community to "hammer out" details of a regional community foundation. Bob was to complete this task before Christmas.

Action Item 2 - Each of the members was to go back to their perspective communities and identify by email to the group a list of "key people" within their communities that should be involved with this endeavor by the end of December.

Action Item 3 - Schedule a meeting prior to Jan 5th (potential date for session with Jeff Yost) to meet as a group to get some evidence of "buy-in" to a regional effort. This would have to be done on either the 3rd or 4th of January. (I think this meeting may be unnecessary if we have to
schedule Jeff for the 5th of January.)

Action Item 4 - If there is agreement that we should proceed with the regional community foundation approach, then invite as many of the key people identified within the communities to be involved with the Jan 5th session with Jeff Yost.
