Education
Public K-12 education is provided by USD
383 headquartered in Manhattan. Private primary education is offered
by Manhattan Catholic Schools
and by the Flint Hills
Christian School. There is a rich offering of technical training,
and both public and private college and university training in the area,
provided by Kansas State University,
the Manhattan Christian College,
the Manhattan Area Technical College
and others.
Health Care
Emergency Medical (ambulance) Services are provided by Pottawatomie
County EMS.
A full array of outpatient medical, dental and other care is available
from numerous providers in Manhattan and Wamego.
Acute care is provided through Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan
and Wamego.
