Olsburg
is a quiet, friendly small town nestled in the incredibly beautiful
rural Flint Hills region of northern Pottawatomie County. However, the
192 residents of Olsburg live only 20 + miles north of Manhattan. (One
brags that he can get to his job in Manhattan in 20 minutes with no
stop signals!)

It's small size, excellent school system, affordable cost of
living and proximity to regional employment and services make it an
excellent place for young families or retirees. Good municipal infrastructure,
affordable property, and a supportive local bank offer Olsburg as a
prime location for small manufacturing companies. An active an successful
local P.R.I.D.E. committee continues to add to the quality of life in
Olsburg. They recently upgraded the City Park and are in the process
of building a new swimming pool as well.
Olsburg is the Gateway Community to some of the most beautiful and
accessible outdoor recreation opportunities in the state of Kansas!
Nearby state parks, wildlife areas, scenic drives and trails, and superb
wildlife viewing and hunting opportunities make Olsburg the service
hub for outdoors people of all persuasions.
