of US highway 77, and 13 miles west of US highway 99. It lies approximately
13 miles west of Westmoreland, the county seat and 20 miles north of
Manhattan and the US highway 24 corridor. Olsburg is approximately 28
miles north of Interstate highway 70. It is roughly 25 miles from Wamego,
60 miles from Topeka, 80 miles from Lawrence and 110 miles from Kansas
City.

The adjoining townships of Green and Shannon each grew by 17.5% during
