Onaga is the commercial center of a large rural area, which includes
the communities of Havensville and Wheaton. The Onaga economy includes
a growing manufacturer, school district headquarters, high school and
grade school, regional health system headquarters, an acute care hospital,
clinic, assisted and long-term care facilities, is the headquarters
for a successful traveling carnival, building and farm supply businesses,
and a full range of professional services and retail.
