About the PCEDC

Private Land and Buildings in Wamego, Kansas.

Wamego is the second fastest growing area in Pottawatomie County for both commercial and residential development. The reasons for this growth are simple: available property, strategic location between Manhattan and Topeka, and low property tax rates.

Property varies greatly in price depending upon the proximity to the highway, the stage of development, the location east or west of Highway 99, or whether its within the downtown core. If frontage is neither needed or desired, it is recommended that you go back a page and review the "public" lands that are available in the area.

We could map all of the property available at present, but the map will look different tomorrow and the day after. Usually, one has a choice of developed and undeveloped tracts, and buildings for lease or sale.
