Pottawatomie County (www.pottcounty.org) is a full service county, governed by an elected three-member county commission and managed by a professional county administrator.

Our county commissioners are elected from representative electoral districts. Our county government includes Administration, Appraisal, County Attorney, County Clerk, District Court, Emergency Management, Engineering, Environmental Health, Extension Service, Finance, GIS (Mapping), Health Department, Noxious Weed Control, Planning and Zoning, Register of Deeds, Sanitarian, Sheriff, Maintenance and the Treasurer's office.
